Coolant Leak
Hi,
Car is a 316i 2014. I'm trying to diagnose a coolant leak to see if it is something I can do myself and get some parts ordered or book it in. My partner has the car and has sent me some photos but I won't be able to have a look until later this week. The low coolant sensor went off, and after checking the tank, the coolant was low. The leak seems to be coming from the connection in the photo (circled in red). Does anyone had this issue before, or know the scope of the job to fix this? I'm no mechanic, but I have replaced pads/oil/coolant hoses etc and have all the standard tools however I have never worked on a BMW before. Cheers in advanced. Jeremy. |

That is the coolant line to turbo isn't it? Google for N13 turbo coolant leak and you will get some hits, for example this:
