!! Many thanks for this!

Looking for opinions on best alloys, i like the 405M ones from Ive seen so far.

Thinking of few cosmetic changes, gloss black kidney grills, mirror caps and lip spoiler on rear.

330d so maybe a remap in near future if anyone has any recommendations (Ayrshire, Glasgow area).

I'll certainly see if I can dig out some more pics and perhaps start a separate thread.

It has standard black leather inside. I'm very pleased with it so far, it is a 'sensible' replacement for my much loved E91 330i (manual) and my recently departed 911.

It's a D3, I would have preferred a B3, but the B3's are considerably rarer and command a decent premium over the D3's. Sytner currently have a lovely 66 plate Alpina Green F31 B3, but it is up at £52K! It is my first diesel car in over a decade and also first ever auto.

I had originally set out looking for a Alpina Green, Blue or Grey example with contrasting cream, tan or brown interior, but due to the rarity I ended up compromising on the colour combination.

The spec is OK on this one, I was surprised how many had business nav! Off the top of my head its got pan roof, pro nav, enhanced blue tooth, high-beam assist, reversing camera, 20 inch wheels, folding mirrors, shadow line gloss black exterior trim, privacy glass, detachable tow bar, black headlining, silver leather edged Alpina floor mats, silver leather Alpina stripes on the headrests and silver stitched steering wheel. It has xenons and heated seats, but I think these were standard.

I also wanted a sub 60k mile example to enable me to put a BMW warranty on the car, unfortunately BMW warranty put Alpina models in the same price bracket as M cars. It is over double the cost when compared to say a 330d, but to me its worth it for piece of mind.

I don't have any great plans, other than a wheel refurb over winter, and a freshen up of the spoiler and bumper in the Spring. I may also fit some LCI rear lights, but I don't want to cause warranty issues by swapping parts over. I am going to ensure the oil is changed annually, so have this booked in for a couple of weeks time. Thankfully it had discs and pads all round and 4 x new Michelin PS4S tyres earlier this year, which saved me some ££££'s.

Cheers

Really nice, congrats! Just one question, don't Alpina's all come with the side decals as standard?

The decals are all optional, the front spoiler decals can be optioned separately.

I have been considering adding the spoiler decals in silver when it is painted.

Cheers

It's impossible, I leave a seat cover on the drivers seat most of the time now

New Member with 340i

New member to these parts and my first BMW. There seem to be a few of these delivery mileage, last production F31 340is around here but had to wait for an orange one to come available having missed one a couple of weeks ago at Blackpool BMW. Once the sun has come out here in Lancashire I should be able to get some photos with the orange popping!
