Talking Soon to be F32 owner!

I'm very very excited as I've driven about 200 miles to secure a deal on a AUC 4 series.

Alpine white (67 plate)
420i M Sport (I'm not a massive petrolhead)
Sport Automatic
M Sport plus package (19inch alloys, M Sport brakes, Harman/kardon stereo, sun protection glass, high-beam assistant).
Digital Cockpit
Exterior folding mirrors
5000 miles

I think it was just a shade under £40k new back in December 2017 and I managed to get it for £23,490. Also got a decent trade in price for my 1series. I'm glad as I've just missed out on the £40k tax as well. Pick up on Thursday! Safe to say I'm very excited

In all the excitement whilst I was there, I forgot to take any pictures! Doh! These are the dealer photos and I'll have to upload some of my own when I collect. Also, just thought I'd add that I was actually really impressed with the digital cockpit (even if its not as good as Audis). I didn't think I'd notice much change in terms of the interior when compared with my 1 series, but I was very wrong indeed! The combination of the digital cockpit, pro nav and the harmon speakers is a massive step up for me.

I'd say the step up from 1>3 is as big as 3>5 - I'd always found the 1 interior to be nasty.

Nice car

Looks very nice OP. Happy motoring! By the way... black grills, ACS lowering springs and, may be a remap? In that order.

So I finally picked it up this week! I literally have the biggest smile on my face every time I look at it! Even my partner who wasn't keen on me getting it is now wanting to take turns driving it.

I've never had an auto before and I can't get over how smooth it is when compared to my previous manual 1 series. Now I'll admit I was a bit apprehensive getting the 420i. I'm no petrolhead by any means but I still want my car to be nippy and reading various forums/reviews gave me mixed opinions on what to expect. After the test drive I was more confident, but now I've driven it for a few days I'm so glad I got it. It's great at cruising along but when you want it to move, it certainly moves (especially in sport mode). The digital cockpit is also a great boys toy and certainly modernises the interior.

Not normally a fan of white cars but that does look good.

Enjoy it.

For the money the digital cockpit is a great upgrade to take - I have a very similar spec F36 and spent a fair amount of time in a colleagues E Class AMG, which has dials and looks so 1999

Enjoy the new ride!
