Anyone on calendar for a flash?

Mission told me they would be ready to start "flashing" customers as of Monday (23rd) - anyone put their money down yet?

I probably will get flashed when the group buy goes down.

I'm on calendar for the group buy. I will let you guys know how the experience goes and how it feels differently. I have BMS intake, Evolution 4.5' downpipe and a JB4. I guess the JB4 is obsolete at this point but I wonder if i should remove it or just leave it be? Any insight into that?

JB4 is definitely not obsolete. There is still nothing like it for logging on a mobile device.

I plan on keeping the JB4 and running in Map 4 so I can take advantage of meth control. Trust me, Terry will be perfecting the JB4 firmware to work in harmony with flash maps. No need to get rid of it, especially not right away.

Remove it, that way if anything happen to the flash they can diagnost it.

Just leave the JB4 intact and use it for logging purposes for now. Hopefully BMS can give us some insight soon on what they might have planned. Literally no reason to remove it unless you want to sell it and use the $ for the flash.

40k miles on my JB4 and it is running strong (with some complaints of course).

Terry would develop a map that you would use MHD's software to flash the car with. The JB4 is just a piggyback that is run on top of that, it doesn't do the flashing.

This.

Give Terry and MHD a couple months and you can run a $99 MHD back end flash with all the benefits seen here and still keep the JB4 for datalogging, monitoring and meth safety. The JB4 will never be obsolete. These cars are going to be monsters very soon.

Its only a matter of time very soon that BM3,MHD,AA and all the others come out with a Flash and the price of these tunes start competing and coming down as usual. Supply and Demand! Patience is a virtue.
