New car
Hi, all, picked my new car up earlier, 320d Sport in Mineral Grey with Oyster leather, feels like a proper grown up car. Straightaway feels much more alive than my SE, both tighter and comfier at the same time. Finally got nav and DAB so very happy, anyone want a gen 2 Avin, one careful owner, worked very well for me.....

Thanks, all, really pleased with it after a brief drive, am I right in thinking the engine is different from the one in my 2012 car? Is the suspension any different too?

If it’s the m sport (non X drive) it will be a firmer suspension, but the LCI model was supposedly improved in many ways, including the suspension. I think that the LCI has several improvements that were extras previously, so it should be better than your previous car. Looks good.

It keeps getting better, been out to Lytham for an ice cream, noticed lights in the exterior door handles, looks really cool. A question re the sat nav, is it possible to set it to show speed limit of the road your on, looked through the menus but can't see any mention.
And thanks for all the positive comments, really appreciated. Mick |

Re the suspension. If it is indeed the sport model, not m sport then its the same se suspension set up. They have revised everything lci so it probably feels tighter generally.

Suspension definitely feels more controlled, less lean, but still comfortable. Car does have the extended dash display so I might need to investigate further. Again, thanks very much for all your help and comments.

Another question for you fine people:-
is it possible to code the display to split screen, I'm guessing not as it's the small display with business nav. I did think about installing my Avin unit but "her indoors" threatened violence!! Mick |

Don’t think that you need to code split screen, you can do via Idrive

Having had a good look through the book pack it seems to mention a separate instruction booklet for the nav, audio and comms, asked the salesman and he says they are no longer provided. Obviously I don't want to read it (!!) but should there be one?
