COVID Testing

Just had my test carried out before heading back to work, Wow that was slightly unpleasant !

Not a wonder there are so many negative tests. From what I hear many are not being carried out properly like this!!!

One of the biggest issues we are seeing is patients who test negative. Then, a few days later, test negative. Then get moved to a non-Covid ward.

Then, a few days later, and they aren't making much recovery or are getting worse, another test gets done, and it comes back positive.

I don't know if it's the test, the procedure, or something else that's at fault. But it's a major problem

If that is the only way you can get tested then it looks like I am 'out' !!! From years of boxing my septum is completely disfigured and even my ENT consultant has problems accessing that area.

Well To be honest I’m more interested in a reliable antibody test myself at this stage of the pandemic now.

I had a PCR and a Serology test today and understand that the cost is ~£800 for same
Day results, just as well my employer paid for it!
