Dash cams (yes i searched)
Can you guys that have them post up some still shots from them (and what cam)?
Looking at the Rexing V3 @ $189 b/c I don't drive alot Everyone LOVES the Blackvue cams on here but its a little more than I want to spend. Just wondering how much difference between a $50 WhoFlungPoo camera and a $450 Blackvue Thanks in advance... |

Keep in mind it not just about pure image quality. It’s also about design of a solution that is 100% reliable, fully hardwired, and a minimal design that not super noticeable. Also if you want a premium solution that has GPS and WiFi integration, and the ability to wirelessly view and download footage you’ll need to spend more than $50.
I’ve had the same Blackvue 750 2CH for 5+ years. It is by far the best dashcam I’ve owned and as put all the $50 to $100 options to shame. Remember you get what you pay for. It’s like comparing a $50 radar detector to a $500 radar detector/laser jammer. |

Any camera can do this like previous post it’s the quality of the recording that matters.
You can take pretty much any video extract it and get stills. With the blackvue though the stills or paused moments are really clear!! Also a lot of people over look this, but quality of SD card matters too. I have BlackVue in my f30 and has the best quality by far. In my other 4 vehicles I have eBay 30 dollar ones and are 1080, and they get the job done as well, they’re pretty much replicas of blackvue, but you can definitely tell by video quality and make. Reason I went with eBay ones, as long as I get video of whatever accident I’m good with that. If the car gets broken into I won’t be out of 100+ dollars vs 30. But I wouldn’t put a cheap camera in an expensive car Just my opinion. |

Hello, here are some shots from my BlackVue DR750S 1-CH.
Picture 1 white Civic merges onto a passing SUV forcing him out of lane. Picture 2 Mini runs a stop sign and gives me finger for honking. Picture 3 White Buick almost runs over a pedestrian. |

BlackBoxMyCar recently tested ThinkWare U1000 under extreme heat conditions - just in time for the summer season. Definitely worth watching.

Good info, thanks guys. I'm along the same train of thought. Getting something good for my car and a cheapie for my wife.
I was looking at the Rexing V3 which was $189 b/c I wanted to stay under $200. Drivers are ridiculous down here in Florida was my main reason. I don't need it for the break in aspect, just a lot of uninsured drivers and old people doing old people stuff. I will say the Blackvue is def impressive. If you don't need park mode the M1 is a great option if you're running a radar detector. Shares a single power source.

If you have a blend mount there's even a $5 add on bar for the M1. My wagon is coming back from service today and my convertible is in storage - but I can try and snap a pic for you later if helpful.

Its funny, my wife and I used to go to Miami area 1-2 times a year when we lived in NJ. Once we decided to move to Florida we figured we would be going there for overnight dinners etc.
We have been once in 5 years and its a 3 hour drive |
