Just to confirm mine are H&R 28878-4

Which are the correct p/no for a RWD F31 330d.

Unsure of your engine size, which will determine which springs you need

Looked at the part number on their website ( 28877-3 ) it states it'll drop the car 30mm front 20mm rear. Also they're purple not red, which I think the super sports are? They're arriving Tuesday...i'll know more of what I've bought then :-)

The part number i ordered was 28877-3. On their website they say it'll drop the car 30/20mm ( taking that means front/rear ). It was when I asked the seller a question he said it'll drop by 40mm but the advert says sports not super sport ( which i think are red? ). I'll know Tuesday when they arrive. If they seem wrong they can go back. Cheers

That's what i'm now hoping thanks. Their website says 30/20mm drop for the part number 28877-3

Yes I found this, they fit multiple models normally and depending on which site you go on, depends which car they put them against. I even had some saying they weren't compatible for my car. In the end emailed HR direct who were really fast to respond and put me on to eurocarparts (official supplier in the U.K.) who confirmed fitment and I had the right part number. They were quoting £280 for the springs on their website but I found them for £169 via a company in Germany, so I asked if they'd price match as I'd rather get them local, and they dropped it to £171 👌🏻

What's the ballpark figure for getting springs fitted by the way and do most people change dampers at the same time or stick with stock?

Use the catalogue and you can see which springs you need for your application - bear in mind that RWD vs xDrive are going to need different springs.

http://web1.carparts-cat.com/default...D107004&12=100

You'll see that they list axle weights - i emailed H&R to confirm which axle weight I needed and purchased the 28878-4 versions accordingly.

I was charged £260 labour and £100 for the four wheel alignment from a decent bmw specialist.
I only went with the H&R sport springs (not the super sport which is an aggressive drop) and spacers, I've got adaptive suspension and didn't change the struts as I didn't think it was needed but mainly because it would have cost £££ more

Thanks for that !! Looks like the ones they are sending drop the car by 45mm !!
No good for me. How do you find the axle weight? In my handbook it says front axle weight 915kg The ones they're sending is for 920kgI'm surprised how many variations there are

Saying that, just checked the ones I ordered and it says they lower by 40mm and that was the normal Sport not Super Sport. It was just what I wanted, slightly lower than the ACS sits very nicely now

Strange, just checked my handbook (2016 LCI RWD 330d) and it shows front axle load limit is 1000kg?

Yeah it's a minefield...I've just contacted a company who has the same springs as your for sale with the details, see what they come up with. Mines a 2012 and according to that H&R link you sent they'll fit. Have you got a photo of your car before they were fitted?

Yeah it was 28832-1 (28832-2 was super sport)

Not the best pic from the workshop because of the angle but similar to the car in the last post although perhaps started slightly higher before as mine was xDrive and that other car looks lower than mine was stock.

Haven't got a decent pic but mine sits the same as the car above, I'd 100% recommend getting spacers as well really completes the look.
I have spacers to go on too....12mm and 10mm. I know some people go 15mm but i was going on the side of caution

I'd be happy with your stance. So do you think i'll get away with the 40mm drop...as long as they're not super sports?

Yeah it's only mm difference, I went for 15/12 on mine and it was only 12 because Bimecc didn't do the 10 in silver, that said happy with how it looks 👌🏻
