True CF but cover, perfect match with BMW CF rear spoiler and really amazing fit, with attachment by 3M tape attachment. I was very impressed in side-by-side comparison with OEM. Seller service / delivery was good as amazon (3rd order so I'm comfortable recommending). Unrelated, but reflector replacements really looked good and paint match perfect.

I got the m performance carbon fibre ones here in canada alberta from the dealership and they charge me $395 for each they had to special order them because they didn't carry them ... stupid expensive. There were replacements no stickers, quality is amazing, so is just a matter of what you want to pay and how long you want them to last.

Got mine from ebay $465 per PAIR incl ship. The $100 ones are stick ons.... the OEM ones are NOT a direct replacement and will require some wood screws and very careful drilling after you take the mirror element out. Thats why the dealership wants $$$$$

Crazy expensive OEM pieces. The eBay units look good though.

I can already tell that his is stick on by just looking at his picture. You can already spot some white area if you look carefully.

I found an auction that looks like it's a straight forward replacement. I have never seen the insides of the performance BMW caps so I have no idea if this is the correct mounting. I also noticed that the performance bmw mirror caps did in fact include screws which this does not seem to utilize.

If someone that bought replacements or has OEM performance bmw ones can chime in as to if the back of those was similar to the link I posted I would much appreciate it =)

That looks about right. Why not just get the stick on version? It accomplishes the same thing without you having to crack open your OEM housing. I've seen the replica stick on version and you really can't tell that it's a "stick on".

I have the originals, they look slightly different on the back. The question is not just what the back looks like but how good the quality of the carbon fiber and the protective coating is, because they would look terrible if they faded or the clearcoat wore off and the carbon fiber started to fray

Yeah the gel coating and the UV protection is always a worry with cheap glossy CF parts from Asia.

I have the TETMotorsports ones and were direct cover replacements. Good quality and fit fine. For less that $300, can't go wrong.

Yeah, I emailed them after hearing about them in your other post. How hard was the install? I'm afraid I'll break the glass or motor :/

I paid 60 bucks to get mine installed at the body shop in town where the BMW dealership sends all their bodywork. You prob won't be able to use the stock caps anymore once the CF ones are installed

Installed mine in ~10 minutes. Hardest part is taking off the old covers which are just pried off. Absolutely love the subtle look they add on a BSM car!!!

you guys might want to consider looking into the Carbon Fiber Mirror Replacement from this supplier in China. I got mine 6 months ago and fit is ok.

These are full replacement CF mirror covers on your F30. I removed existing painted mirror covers and installed these on both sides in 15 minutes. No need to remove mirror lens and nothing to screw or tape on. The manufacturer moulded clips same as OEM attached to the back of the cover that snaps into place on existing slots in the side mirror assembly frame.

Paid USD130 for the pair plus USD27.00 delivery charges to Australia.

How's the quality? I'm a little skeptical buying from aliexpress.
