My MPSS have been on for around 15K miles : 6mm remaining on the fronts; 4mm on the rears. The torque from the 30D can be a challenge for the rear tyres.

Rears averaging 4.73mm and 4.55mm (6 readings per tyre) at 16317 miles on these tyres. Looking on for 25k to 3mm...

Fronts averaging 5.82mm and 5.75mm at the same mileage. Should be on for about 40k to 3mm...

Off side tyres are wearing better than near side... Roundabouts?

These Bridgestones last forever even on a 30d sDrive. I think the key is in the name, stone or fossilised rubber in use!

My car is on just over 30k, but only about 20k of that is with summer Bridgestone Potenzas, and all 4 need replacing. My dealer sent me a video showing 3mm on the fronts and 2mm on the rears, but the edges of all of them had worn much more. One rear even shows the cords on the inside edge. In the video the technician suggested this was down to hard cornering or low tyre pressures - I imagine the former. It is quite striking how much the edges have worn.

Not too disappointed to get rid of them after 20k miles though. Goodbye Potenzas!

18k on the 19" Bridgestones at the service last week.
6.5 fronts, 4mm rear so probably ok for the summer.
Will be looking to replace probably around Sept in time for cooler/wetter times.
I do think the low profile tyres help with general tyre wear, as they don't move much on the blocks, hence less rubbing.
This is my first rear wheel drive car for ~ 15 yrs, and I definitely see a massive difference in wear characteristics. My recent history of front wheel drive cars usually had the fronts gone at ~12-15 k, with the rears lasting up to 3 times that. Driving all that torque through the rear axle obviously has its cost and fun...

When you are stating depths in mm to two decimal places is this not spurious accuracy?
A quick run round the block and another 0.01 gone!!

When I got rid of my 335D, it was on all 4 original tyres after 37,000 miles (less what I'd driven on winter tyres). So probably high 20s. Thought that was pretty good.

I have 26K on the car but with winter tyre use have about 18-20K on these tyres. Rears are wearing evenly with about 3mm left. Fronts are wearing really badly on the outside edges. I have 3-4mm in the main grooves but the tread pattern in almost totally gone off the outer surface of both front tyres.

I'm still on the first set I got with the new bimmer on 27/03/2015.
Between then and now I've done 23.5k on them and still have a couple of mm left.
Booked in for new ones in a few weeks

Rears replaced at 61K.

Am on 71K with the original fronts (3 - 4 mm tread although worn smooth on the outer edge)

61K !! What were your tyres made from ?? Not rubber by the sounds of it !!

I guess a 320d ED - having less power and torque than most here - goes some way towards lengthening the tyre life. Largely motorway miles, however several trips to Eastern Europe where the roads are not always so good.

I am amazed however that they are lasting so long.

Bloody hell .......... I've just changed the fronts at 18k. Down to less then 3mm with outside couple of inches of tread gone - smooth.
Rears still got over 4 -5 mm left

Sounds unusual to have faster wear at the front than the rear on a RWD biased car.

I think the S4 was 50/50 front to rear split, so perhaps to be expected with the engine weight? It seems unusual for a 335d though.

My 335D is the same, fronts wearing a little faster than the rears. I did wonder if the driving mode made any difference, if it was slightly more fwd bias in comfort and vice versa in sport as I use comfort mode virtually all the time.

That's very impressive and must be saving you a good chunk of money on tyre replacements over the life of the car.

I've just changed my original run flat fronts at 22k, and plan to change the rears next month. I primarily drive A and B roads so feel thats pretty good going! i do feel BMW set their geometry completely wrong for these roads, lots of feathering on the fronts due to the toe in, and more wear on the outside edges than the inner edges..
