inflate the tires to 5 lbs below max pressure listed on the sidewall. Pull the battery and bring it indoors connected to a proper trickle charger with sensing to ensure it does not try to overcharge it continuously Invest in a proper car cover Check all the fluids and top up as needed, fill the gas tank full and add a fuel preservative at time of fill up, so It mixes and goes through the lines while you drive it home When you pull it out of storage get an oil and filter change done. |

Get a CTEK automatic battery charger with maintenance mode.
Put STA-BIL in the tank and run the car so the stabilized fuel circulates through the fuel lines and injectors. Cover openings where rodents can get into the car i.e. air intake, exhaust. Place socks with mothballs under the hood. Put a tub of desiccant inside the passenger compartment (silica cat litter works really well).

Why not just continue driving it? Really no need to stop driving it in the winter..it's a entry level luxury sports sedan that's quite capable in the snow not a Ferrari.

makes sense i drove it last winter with brand new tires not the best ones i guess but it sucked had to use gravel bags to get around on most days.. but its on expensive coilovers now wouldn't want to put the extra load on them

Just drive it every now and then. My car is in a cold climate (Mass), outside 100% of the time, and can go weeks at a time without being driven due to my work schedule. No problemos.

My RWD F30 335i with snow tires is my winter beater (Minnesota). It is a perfectly capable car in even heavy snow. |

I don't think the op is debating awd with all seasons/summers vs rwd with winters in the snow. They're from Montreal, where winters are mandated no matter how many driving wheels you have.
