Thanks! Super happy with how it came out. Here's a few more pics for anyone else who might be interested in this setup. I had a really hard time finding pics before I pulled the trigger.

Thinking maybe another 0.5" of low to get the fitment perfect

Looking to do ARC-8’s in a 19X9.5 et 33 squared on my 435. It’ll be aggressive, but I don’t mind some camber.

- 18x8.5 +38 square
- Continental Extremecontact Sport 245/40/18
- Stud conversion kit
- OEM M-Sport springs

just had ec-7s installed this weekend. shoutout to Apex for making the purchase experience super streamline and easy. I went with the recommended staggered 19 inch (Front: 19x8.5" ET35 | Rear: 19x9.5" ET43) in race silver and used my original tires. My car is sitting on Bilstein b6 + acs springs and the fitment seems to be perfect!

Street car that might do 1 or 2 track days a year. 18x9 or 18x9.5? Not looking to be slammed.

18x9 ET30 or ET31(EC-7 only) tends to be an easier fit compared to the 18x9.5 ET35. Both of these fitments can work but we generally recommend the 18x9 ET30.

We have some example shots of our 18x9 ET30s and 18x9 ET31s posted already. I'll post a feature on our 18x9.5 ET35s with another forum member's car here shortly.

18x9 ET42 recommended? What's the main difference between ET30/31 and ET42?

The difference is 11-12mm inwards towards the suspension. Depending on tire width it may rub with the +42. Some say it fits with no mods but other have had to run a 3-5mm spacer up front to avoid rubbing. Apex recommends the spacer as well

Exactly. Typically we recommend a 5mm spacer with this setup, though you might need a wider spacer if you are running aftermarket suspension that limits inner clearance.

Another difference between the 18x9 ET30/31 and the ET42 is the profile of the wheels. Our 18x9 ET30/31s are more concave than the ET42s which some enthusiasts prefer.

ARC-8 18x9.5 ET35 255/35-18

Big thanks to Nexus313 for sending us these images of his 340i xDrive!

Check out his original post here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732449

APEX Wheel Info
  • 18x9.5 ET35 ARC-8 Square in Satin Black
  • 255/35-18 Continental Extreme Contact Sports

Other Mods
  • H&R lowering springs
  • No spacers currently, but the owner is experiencing slight rubbing when at full steering lock. 3mm spacers should fix this issue.

That's a good reminder. Any difference in the concavity between the 18" and 19" X9 +30?

If we are talking about ARC-8s specifically, the 18x9 ET30 is a profile 3 wheel (max concavity). We actually don't make a 19x9 ET30 ARC-8, but we make it in a ET28 which is obviously very similar in terms of offset. The 19x9 ET28 is also a profile 3 wheel so the concavities are the same.

The SM-10s also match between 18s and 19s with a 9 inch wide wheel and ET30 offset(profile 2).

So my 2015 335xi is currently running H&R Sport springs, Bilstein B8’s, 12.5mm spacers in the rear and 10mm spacers at the front. Currently on a square 18x8.5 setup, looking to go up to a square 19 Arc 8 set. Is 19x8.5 recommended? Or should I go wider wheels and smaller spacers? I really want some concavity and these thread pics look super clean, but I’m unsure of et or tire size to achieve it with mine.

Thanks for the question! 19x8.5 ET35 will be a direct fit for your chassis, but it will not be a concave profile in the ARC-8. If concavity is the goal, I would recommend our 19x9 ET28 wheels instead. These will be a direct fit with 245/35-19 tires at stock ride height and slightly lowered as well. These wheels are a direct fit on the F30 and shouldn't require any spacers.

Here are some shots of a similar setup on our SM-10 wheels to give you a better idea of what it would look like at stock ride height. The offset for our ARC-8s would be 2mm more aggressive.

Looks good! Doubt it, but any rubbing? No spacers right? Do you think you had enough room to go a little wider on tire (say a 235 in front and 265 in rear?)
