Yeah thanks guys.

Already had that little gem... Thats the database I used to find what I needed for my first code changes. Using it certainly takes all the guess work out of it.

I'll play around with it over the weekend to familiarize myself with coding. Should be able to code simple things for now. I'll let you know Vince

Sure or I could remote code.

I got a few more things coded successfully: Remove iDrive Disclaimer, Remove Backup Camera Disclaimer, Digital Speedometer, M Logo bootup, M Performance Speedo display, Side Mirrors folding intervals & Sports Display.

Couldn't get alternate iDrive Language to code properly, Logic 7 Menu.

Sure, will do. Was playing around with coding the sports displays & accidentally clicked on a folder I shouldn't have
The worst part is I didn't back up. Luckily I know an advanced coder who can help me undo my mistake.

Yep, learn't a grave lesson check before pressing 'Code' & to always 'BACKUP'.

I noticed the ASD section, haven't tried it. Also noticed there's 4 sound profiles, M3, M5, Diesel & Petrol + ASD.

Before the issue, I coded two versions of the Sports Display - Sport (Red background) or M Sport version (White Background) Coded a volume bar for audio & Sports Brake.

Also toyed around with the loading menu: Rolls Royce FTW

Here's some teaser:

You don't really need to backup mate. Providing you don't push the "nuke" button you can fix it.

I see, will have to make a decision on whether the red or white background looks better. I already have the volume bar so that won't be needed! Man you got me all excited now, get it sorted ASAP !! I wanna go for a ride in your car before the downpipes

It's all fixed, the expert coder fixed it in under 6 mins & even coded the LED tail lights whilst at it.

Located ASD (Active Sound Design) section.

Played around with the iDrive themes.

Rolls Royce Mode

M Mode

Indeed, I just need to be more careful Yep, I've heard of the terrible 'Nuke' button, aka 'Code Default'.

Wave good bye to your car if you do press it

Do you accept bribes to do coding?

There's a few things you've done I wouldn't mind having on my car.
