Hey Guys,
I am getting close to ordering a car, but I wanted to run my order by you guys in case I missed an important option. See my options below. In addition to these options, I am adding the Black Kidney Grilles option.

Also, I am debating PPK option and the dealer is stating that I would have to wait until November to get that option on the car. Is it worth waiting until November and getting the PPK? Is it much more expensive to get it added afterwards? Or will aftermarket mods be better value?

Also, does anyone have any ideas if there will be an LCI sometime soon? Why is the dealer telling me that the PPK is available in November? Is there an update happening at that time?

These decisions are all personal but since you asked.....

Most people here will beg you to get the Dynamic Handling Package, especially since you are getting an X Drive. I have ordered it for my X Drive as well, although I have never driven one with the option. The $1,000 seems to be a bargain if it helps with the handling of the car. You have alot of non-performance options on your car so maybe you can find something to give up to get DHP. If you don't need HUD, you can order just NAV and save $1,000. The NAV option for 2014 has all of the options that Tech gets you except for the HUD and I think Speed Limit Info. I passed on those and just got NAV.

PPK has been discontinued for post July builds although at least one person here was able to get it on a mid-August build. BMW stated that the option will be back in the 4th quarter of 2013 but no one knows exactly when. I am sure it will be cheaper to get at Port than after delivery. I personally wouldn't hold up my order waiting for the option to become available. I am thinking of working out a price with the dealership for a post arrival installation but my guess is that it will be significantly more than a negotiated Port installed item.

If i'm reading this right you're getting the car for $410 below invoice? Yet the entire sales tax is added back into the cap cost? Is this how it's supposed to work in IL?

Now the wait. Time to troll for mods
