Some more information on Dealer Doc fees. Looks like NY is one of the lowest.
http://blog.truecar.com/2011/07/26/w...s-the-doc-fee/ Unfortunately NJ where the car dealer is actually located, its not capped so $299 looks to be about the average But I really cant argue with a $56,464 selling price on a $60,375 MSRP 435i |

I have heard great things about bestbuyleasing in Brooklyn NY, I contacted them and they were very professional, gave me my 2nd best pricing and I contacted everyone in the Northeast when I was shopping for my F30. The guy who beat him was Tommy at insidecarbuying.com. I know mine's a 3 but here was my deal from June for reference: MY13 335i, M Sport, 403M Wheels, Tech, Cold Weather, Prem, Rear Cam, PDC, HK Audio MSRP: $57000 Negotiated Price: 52115 $1250 in rebates (loyalty and I forget the other) Resid: 62% MF: .00127 36 mo - 10k miles/yr $0 Cap cost reduction Paid at signing: 3202 (NY Tax, Inception, Doc, Fuel, Tire, etc) Payment: 492/mo [negotiated price may be slightly off... I can't find all the paperwork right now] The fee to hire him was 500, with a $50 discount because I bought one of his DIY reports prior and tried to get it on my own but failed (probably because I needed to buy from an already very limited dealer inventory). I showed the worksheet to a bunch of dealers and lease brokers and they couldn't touch it, bestbuyNY was the closest but I'd have to factory order and it was still $75/month more. While I'm sure there have been better deals than this, the fact that I showed up at the dealer and drove off in a new car 10 minutes later made it worth every penny IMO. I was obviously nervous forking over a fee like that and not knowing what would happen but it was almost too good to be true. The drive home I couldn't believe how easy it was, compared to the 5 hour marathon I had at the Acura dealer a month before with my grandparents. Never again! lol

Final offer I took was $1,200 over invoice, no incentives applied, and this is for a custom order. I've come a long way considering earlier this month on my first quote they wouldn't even budge off MSRP lol
off topic question bc Im jealous of all you who took advantage... for those familiar with BMW specials, any chance we will see incentives in December? I'm hoping by then any offers can also be applied to the 4 series Last edited by EyeSky; 10-18-2013 at 03:04 PM.. |

Got my order in today.
2014 BMW 435i Coupe Exterior: Estoril Blue (Must select: ZMM M Sport Line) Interior: Black Dakota Leather (cleared / no charge) M Sport Line (required) Trim: Aluminum Hex int trim + [4DX] Estoril blue finisher (M Sport Line) Highlight Trim Finishers: Estoril Blue matt (M Sport Line) (required) Wheels: 19\" Light Alloy Wheel Double-spoke Style442 M with Mixed Performance (M Sport Line) Transmission: Manual Transmission Cold Weather Pkg Premium Package Driver Assistance Package Technology Package Lighting Package $60,375 MSRP Selling price of $56,464 -$500 loyalty = $55,964 MF - .00125 62% residual 12k miles/year $688 Month. I'll take it. From what I've found, this is pretty damn close to invoice, within $1k I'd say. EDIT: Turns out the invoice price on the car is $55,960. Even better deal then I thought. Only paid $500 over invoice. Then got my $500 loyalty off Last edited by becker800; 10-22-2013 at 04:54 PM.. |

FINALLY pulled the trigger:
Los Angeles Area 435i M-Sport Blk/Blk/Alum/Blk Cold Weather Pkg Premium Pkg Technology Pkg Driver Assist Pkg Harmon Kardon SS Side/Top View Cameras 19" M-Sport Wheels MSRP = $60,100.00 Sale Price = Invoice + $1250 for a BMW Select Finance at 2.99% and a late October allocation. After several name-dealerships in the area told me they wouldn't move from MSRP, I am very happy with my pricing and experience. Judging from some of the comments above, looks like (about)1K over invoice is the deal. You may not find every dealership willing to make that deal but you should be able to find a few. I'd be interested to hear if people are having different experiences with MSRP discounts when they are paying outright. I.e., are dealers being this stingy if you're willing to just write a check? Or is this attitude just restricted to leases / financing. I'm hoping to be able to get at least a few grand off MSRP by buying outright; that's been my experience in the past but I've never shopped a car that was completely new for the model year so I'm just not sure how the market is behaving given that newness.

I got a quote from dealer today and he says his invoice in different from mine. Does anyone know where I can find the invoice? Oh and the Doc Fee $599 is robbery, in GA.

I was wondering the same before I put in my order. What I did not know is that they add a couple fees into the invoice. Therefore your quote is probably a couple hundred bucks less than what the dealer is telling you. Now I don't know if this applies to all states but for me they added a service fee of $180 and a MACO fee (not sure what that is, if someone elaborate) of $380. If you add these fees to online invoices such as an Edmunds quote, then that will be your exact price. |

Ordered a 428 from David at Steve Thomas BMW in early September. I was able to get 7% off MSRP on their upfront offer. No need to negotiate as this was much lower than other dealers. Car is in en route to the US now. Looking forward to closing out this transaction next month.
Thanks Don |

I've officially entered the marketplace for a 435i M sport in So Cal. Not in a major rush but when I see x% over invoice can already be had, it may be moving my timeline up a bit

Got my 435 custom order for $1000 over invoice, and I had the $1000 graduate cash, so basically netted out at invoice.
