2016 F30 LCI Air-conditioning
Hello Bimmer Post:
I'm a proud owner of 2016 BMW 328 LCI for more than a year. However this afternoon I found an issue with air-conditioner function. When I set the AC on Auto to 68 for both driver and Passenger, the AC felt cooler by the vents. Then I turned on the MAX-AC, the AC started to blow cold air, and after about few minutes, the air stopped to flow through the vents. I clicked the A-M(Auto/Manual) button just under the Max AC knob. and since then the AC on Max-AC stopped to function. Air stopped blowing through the vents. I can hear the AC running but no air movement through the vents. Any insights are appreciated. |

there are two TSBs about this. One is this one https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...47832-9999.pdf
And another has only a firmware update https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...36357-9999.pdf Last edited by shiftdnb; 10-03-2021 at 09:13 PM.. |

Seems to be becoming more and more common. There is a small adapter that can be fitted as well as a software update if necessary.
Search on here… I posted pics of the supposed fix. Just went through this very recently. |
