Suggestions for getting out of lease

Posting this to ask for some advice.

I'm trying to get out of my lease as I need to reduce expenses and I've decided that I don't want to buy the car when the lease is up.

I've got the car listed on LeaseTrader.com and haven't had a bite at all.

I am originally from Atlanta and I had the car listed there, but I recently came to the Bay Area (Petaluma, CA to be exact) and had the listing moved here (The car is California emissions compliant).

I put some incentive with the car because the drive out here put me a little over my miles, so the payment is comparable to other cars listed in the area, but I haven't had one person reach out.

Do you guys have any suggestions or pointers to get out sooner?

My brother just went through this with his car. The issue is that these cars depreciate so fast that you will probably owe more to get out of your lease than your car is worth. Especially if you put nothing down. SO, the best way financially for you to get out of it is to simply put it out there as you have for a lease take over, but you may be sitting in it for a while. The other option, which my brother did, will require you to eat some cash but you can trade it in just as you would any other vehicle. You have to call the lease company and get your payoff. Leases suck in my opinion for these exact reasons.

I've done LeaseTrader over the years and have been successful only because I applied a decent incentive. It appears Swapalease has become more popular these days but the process is the same. If you don't want to switch over just increase the incentive. Worked 6 times for me now. Only way to get out of a lease with the least expense imo.

Just a rule of thumb for selling anything: make it as neutral as possible. Remove "enthusiast" features/pictures from the listing. Put more pictures in a parking lot and less on backroads. And I'd also remove the CCA emblem.

I kinda look at it like this:
11 payments left at $500 so if you get a bite tomorrow call it at least 1 more to get the paperwork and all that done
you are offering $960 cash which is ~2 payments
so you are talking 8 additional payments you are really "saving" 4k?
might be easier just to ride out the remainder of the lease and just return the car at the end and wash your hands of it
