Resonator's aren't needed on a turbo car. The turbo even acts like a muffler.

Lol you guys are saying that same thing as "it adds drone". Again, it's absolutely subjective what is a tolerable amount, but it still holds true that removing the resonator unequivocally adds drone.

It was pretty sic 3" straight exhaust through a single magnaflow muffler or dumped through the e-cutout. It would sound like a harrier jet taking off then the bov purging straight into the atmosphere every shift! Almost as good as sex!

It had hand ported heads with a custom ground cam and put down 620 rwhp on only 10lbs boost. 😳

Removed my res when I installed my rpi exhaust. ( axleback) paired with a dp. It was fun and loud in the beginning, but it got really annoying fast. I will probably put my res back on soon.

was just looking for resonator delete forums today, I did a muffler delete 3 weeks ago and got it put back on after 2 weeks because I thought the drone was awful I have a 2013 335i 6mt f30 n55. but now I am curious about a resonator delete. I want a deeper tone but none of that bad drone from 2,400 rpm to 3,000 rpm. with a stock exhaust will a resonator delete cause bad drone?

just got my resonator deleted today on the stock 2013 f30 335i exhaust and I love it! ZERO DRONE! none on high way none on low rpms. DO IT.

for anyone who hasn't done anything to your exhaust just get the resonator delete. DO NOT DELETE your mufflers! I spent hours on forums and yes some said there was drone a lot of it, some said there wasn't. well there is and its unbearable. save your money and just get res delete if you want to mess with your exhaust. oh and obviously get downpipes too. but leave that factory muffler. that kills ALL the drone!
