Dinan Handling Kit - Remove boot?

Hi all, a quick question on the Dinan Handling kit for the F30.

A few days ago I received my Dinan Handling Kit (D193-3201). In the kit come 4 bumpstops, 2 for the rear, 2 for the front. But the front bumpstops have a corrugated rubber boot attached to them. I'm guessing I need to remove them before install. Is this correct? Remove? Does anyone know? I contacted Dinan but no reply yet.

See the PDF instructions for the corresponding springs. It recommends removing the Dinan boot and reusing the OE boot.
