El Primero is a movement rather than a watch style.

Zenith are ok. I don’t rate Tudor for example but many here will say otherwise. ETTO

The El Primero, particularly in it's most updated version, still sets the benchmark for chronographs in a technical sense, being accurate to 1/10th of a second and the Chronograph Sport (the Daytona's lost twin) is selling like hot cakes just now.

It's been slagged off as a copy of the Daytona but the layout of the dials has been present in the El Primero model for decades and if you ignore the colour scheme, both are copies of the general layout of the Speedmaster which came first. Besides, the Daytona was an absolute failure until 1988 when Rolex fitted a de-tuned version of the El Primero movement into the Daytona fom then until the year 2000.

A damn good watch without the Rolex hype and mark-up.

Code 41: Judging by the watches on show in this thread, I don't think there are many serious collectors on here, but Code 41 sounds like a crowd funding and marketing attempt to make money, like filippo loretti, Vincero, and a lot of other chancers. This is the first I've heard of them, took a look at the web-site and that was enough for me. There are already many good brands out there who are not old staid Swiss watchmakers and "disrupting" the market is just a buzz phrase.

Yes a fairly quality brand, not one that interests me that much, part of LVMH as you might know and you can see the Hublot influence on the straps.

Not for us to say though really, if you like them go for it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I see a few interesting comments too in the last page. I'm sure we're all on the same page but I really don't consider myself a collector or watch guy. Yes I share my Fenix and a 'cheap' Seiko model here to in the spirit of the thread, its just 'What Watch do Wear?'

Never heard of them before...

Done a bit of research and some of the pieces look pretty interesting, not cheap though and it's a difficult sell at omega price points.

All at a fraction of the Omega prices!
Would thoroughly recommend!!!

That's my daily....black and red on a rubber strap.

My dress watch is also from CW, some special edition from about 2014.... that needs winding, and silver hands on a white face can be a challenge to read but it looks nice!

Well worth the look. I have a C8 Flyer (quartz). Cool looking watch.
