2022 M3 Touring
https://evo.co.uk/bmw/m3-touring/202...uring-pictures
Some not so candid shots - I've got to say, as much as the grilles have bothered me on the latest cars, they suit the touring a lot better. I still don't like the smaller wheels at the front, they just look wrong.

It does seem odd they seem to have gone for a big gap at the front wheel arch and an almost slammed "four fat lasses from Stoke-on-Trent sitting in the back" look.

Love the idea but it does nothing for me at all. The front end is just so sh*t and the wheel size difference?
My neighbour is having the outside of her house redecorated. The boss shows up each day in an E46. What a lovely car. Happy to be called old-fashioned.

I hope that's a pre-production mule.
Front stance : SE xDrive with aftermarket wheels - the different wheel diameter, compared to the rear, just looks weird. Rear stance is fine. Grilles : I've tried to like them, but I just can't. It's a bit of a mess really. Hopefully a work in progress which will get a lot better before it's officially released.

Fronts wheel arches, nearly always have more gap, by design. Steering, suspension travel, all part of the reason why. You have to have a dropped front stance, to get filled front arches on most body designs. Publicity shots often give the impression the front is lower than it is, but see the cars in the metal and there is the typical increased front clearances. |

BTW, that M4 looked stunning in the metal, grilles are growing on me, as are the 4-series grilles. |

You'll have no complaints from me on this one! The boss drives an E46 though? Gotta be careful of that... can't be very successful if he drives an older car. Apparently!

I wouldn't say we can base too much on a mule going round the ring but does look good. Also this will be LCI based will it not so different lights and minor tweaks?

My neighbour had an old classic Jaguar up here the other day, feel for the poor guy who owned it. Only worth about £250,000 |

Lovely. After 15 years of ownership I still look back fondly at mine when I park it. There's not many cars I can say that about these days. It's really proven to be a timeless shape.

Drove fabulously, wasnt a great fan of the 2.0d engine, bit lacking in lowdown torque in those days versus the VW PD engine I had owned before. But I did 60k miles in 2 years in that car and it never missed a beat. And if I am honest, I bought it based on looks! Probably the only time I placed my company car order and then told my wife what we were having. I was not compromising! |
