B48 Tunes

Anyone in Australia used the BM3 tunes on an F30 B48 engine?

Looking for feedback

If it has the same affect as it does on every other motor then it is very worthwhile doing.

Big Fella

Hey Buddy, that was my post.

I was locked out of my account and had to create a second one to get in touch with a moderator.

Gonna have a chat with BMR and see if they can do a custom tune.

Cheers,

George

I was also hoping to get some options for tuning my B48 330i as well.
Looking for a minimum of 400+Nm.
My car stock is 185kW 350Nm. See sport display attached.
How is 400Nm achievable, 98 octane, without hardware upgrades, just looking for tune if possible?
Are the sport displays recalibrated for higher performance levels?

The newer versions of the BM3 tune will recalibrate sport display to show the increased performance. The dials on the display themselves are not accurate as they just display a reading based on engine RPM and not actual power output.

Any hardware upgrades?

I have heard the charge pipe should be changed at a minimum.

Cheers,

George

Charge pipe upgrade only for stage 2. I have been running stage 1 on my N20 for 3 years now with no issues. i wouldn't expect anything different on B48 especially on stage 1 tune
