Anyone here play online?

Crikey it’s a 5 year old game!

GTA V online is still massive
They are constantly updating and adding new missions
I had it on PS3 and finished it, but recently picked up a cheap copy for the PS4.
Just wondering if anyone on here is a regular online player?

When I get time I do.
Usually during half term when the Mrs and kids go to the mother in law's.

I find there are too many people online that take it too seriously and can't just play for fun.

I find that I playing in story mode once you have completed the game and side missions is a bit "same old shit."

I then end up playing online which is very addictive as there is so much variety to it but after a while end up going back to story mode for the reason mentioned above.

It's probably going to be at least another 2 to 3 years before GTA6 which means realistically it will be released on the next generation of consoles.

I have seen the mods people do to the PC version and this looks like something I could do that would give the game another couple of years of life.
I'm even tempted to pull a 1080ti out of one of my mining rigs just to do this.

Yea,
As a novice, it can be quite daunting to get into it when you have so many pros online and many will not give you a chance to develop and get into the game.
I have found myself going for the driving roles as my reactions / aim / connection usually mean I get riddled before getting a kill, even when I spot the enemy first

I didn’t know that! No wonder they haven’t released a new one yet, why spend the time and money developing a new game when they can just add online bits and pieces to the old game and make loads of money out of kids that are happy to play online over and over again!

amazing game in terms of graphics, level of detail, cars are very cool, looks good upscaled on 4K TV, Dolby digital surround mode support is amazing with my Sonos system sub


finished story, was obsessed playing online in 2016 for year but got separated from it and did try get back early this year but there are so many things changed that i didn't want to try to regain my PROFESSIONAL status so just sold it, still got decent amount of ££ back

It’s such a shame, I think it’s really affected the number of decent single player games released!
