Great information and thanks. I just bought a Sunset Orange 330i M Power yesterday and was looking at the Dinan, JB+, Race Chip, BPMS or Boot Mod 3. Can you explain the major differences between the 2 kits in regards to power? The numbers seem low. I do know your warranty and quality is excellent. I am looking at the low cost options. Like everyone I am looking for the best bang for the Buck. Will Dinan ever develop any update in the future that we can retroactively add to our Dinan kits for an increase of power. I guess I am asking do you have the capability to do that? Thank you

The SPORT unit is what it is. Its a simple boost controller and can only do so much (just like the JB+). There would be no additional power gained from that device in the future short of just adding better octane to the equation.

The ELITE unit will have the ability to have additional stages as more hard parts are released (stage 2 for the CAI as an example). While additional hard parts are planned for the platform I have no ETA for anything I am afraid. B58 has been the focus.

In theory D440-0121 would work with the B48 320i as well. Same connectors, etc. We just have never verified it in house hence its non-inclusion as an applicable model.

What's the difference between the V1 and V2 elite tuners for the B46? I noticed V2 does not have Bluetooth on it. Why are there two versions?

I'll let Dinan reply with details. My understanding is that the V2 is slightly more conservative in power, but better for long term engine/platform stability. V1 is now defunct.

Just received my unit and installed it. The amount of power it adds is def noticeable. With my few days of driving, I noticed a slight bucking response from the car when going from no throttle input to some partial throttle. This occurs in low rpm. When I initially add throttle, there is a forward force but the force disappears and pauses for a small moment, then the forward force come back slightly stronger. I noticed I can get around this by rolling onto the throttle instead of stabbing it.

But regardless, I am very happy with my purchase. And really like the new app layout.
