Have you driven an automatic one? I never wanted an automatic car until I drove a 335i auto...
When I test drove a manual one, I was underwhelmed.

funny you saying that cause me as well surprisingly, while having an RS3 for a week that dsg made me challenge myself about driving auto, the 8AT flashed in sport mode is not as grippy as dual clutch indeed but super fun and precise to drive surprisingly... it's a personal choice but worth a try
