Odd photo request?

I have a 335d X touring Msport which I had intended keep a few years and do some stuff to (lowering especially), but I may sell it in 6 months, so that's now on hold.

But I do want to put spacers on and wondering if anyone has pics of a similar car (i.e. standard, high riding Xdrive) but with spacers on only. I can get a used set from a friend who's selling his 320 Msport.

The pics I find are either lowered or on Msport suspension.

Just want to see if it makes matters better or worse, visually.

Oh, and as a side note, if I go with the spacers, mudflaps or no mudflaps? From one day to the next I change my mind. Its mineral grey.

thanks

Sorry no pics, but it may look a bit odd? The further out you push the wheels I think the more it will emphasize the height of the x drive variant. With the wheels tucked in the arches helps to hide the height..... a bit.

Always lower an X Drive car first then spacers if required. Spacers without lowering will make it look like a monster truck. Oh, and no mudflaps

No to the mudflaos Not a fan

Re the spacers. Are you able to loan them from your friend long enough to fit them to one side (with a view to purchase) ?

That way you can compare the spaced side re the non spaced side and make a judgment call

Yes it is

I’ve since lowered it on Bilstein B8’s and Eibach springs

I'm so torn about lowering. Speed bumps of all kinds everywhere where I live - especially those narrow ones which threaten to take out your undercarriage!

To make matters worse, I regularly do a 100 mile jaunt to visit the in laws and they have an awful cul-de-sac entrance which used to scrape at my E90's nuts regularly as we're often 4-up.

Its actually a bit of a luxury in general not having to wince each time I see a speed hump compared to the E90. But then that car was a bit better to drive even though it had fewer ponies....
