Valve core needs replacing

The only thing holding air in my tire is the screw-on valve cover.

Not sure why the core went out -- core is clean; tire is clean, no corrosion, etc.

Anyway, can I simply buy this kit and replace only the valve core?

Or does this type of thing not work for TPMS cars? I'm seeing conflicting information online.

Should work fine, it still has a regular valve core.

Yes this will work, you can get that kit at any walmart with auto center.

Why buy a kit? Go into any auto parts store and buy a valve core. It might come in a package of four and cost $2.
