It’s nice, quite a comfortable watch as not to heavy. My only grip is the yellow strap can stain if you are wearing new jeans, it does come off though with a bit of a damp cloth.

Depends how many watches you have.

I looked at all cost options and a friend recommended this. Has done me fine for last couple of years.

May upgrade at some point. Have a Wolf winder which is handy.

Cheaper option I have…

Think I read that they have ended their deal with Bentley and have signed up Triumph?

This is still for sale if anyone is interested, I have taken it off eBay for the moment. £2200.

From experience it's definitely a case of you get what you pay for. The cheap ones are garbage and the high quality branded ones like those wolf ones are quite pricey but vastly superior quality wise.

Have to slightly disagree that the cheaper ones are "garbage". I have had my cheaper option for a couple of years and working fine.

But do agree the Wolf ones are a lot better as represented in the price differential.

I mean it's a box so it's going to work but I'm sure it's not solid wood and real leather with brass fixings. Cheap winders are the bigger issue, they do break.

Agreed.
Depends what one is after.

£800 on a watch box that's a winder too. No thanks.

£30 dedicated box that 'holds the watches safely' and had padding? Well it does the job and isn't really garbage. It's not a high class item that you'd show off but it is a watch box. A box. For putting watches in.

Depends what's going in the box doesn't it, if you have a few g shocks etc then cool, if you are putting 50 grands worth of pateks/APs etc then you would probably want something a bit nicer.

Possible scam where somebody asking you to sign a petition steals your watch. Stay alert.

Daft q probably.
Do more expensive watches have second hands that tick precisely to the seconds markers on the dial?
