How do you like it?! I'm anxiously waiting on delivery of my 2022 M4 Competition X-Drive. I'll be tracking it as well, just like I did with my F80's.

I track my cars on average about 2 times a month including this one. I have already done 1 day this month, and will do 2 more in the next couple of weeks. So do I like it? Hell yea! Like every car however, it is not perfect. That one hasn't been built yet.

You will find that this is going to be faster, and outperform your F80CS on track, but there are a couple of things that you will have to address. Most importantly the rear brake pads have no business being on a track. They will literally melt away very quickly. I have never been able to get a second day out of a set, and I am not alone. I suggest that you start scouring this forum, and every place else you can think of to find out everything you can about aftermarket track pads for this car. You are going to need them. Secondly, but not as critical, this car just like your F80CS needs camber plates if you are going to drive it on a track. Vorshlag has just come out with a set for this car. Mine are on order. Everything else is a personal decision, and optional, so sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Oh yeah, I've already been made aware of the horrible rear brakes. What a boneheaded move. Camber plates, brake pads, suspension and tires are first on my list. Do you have X-Drive or RWD?

RWD, and like I said, beyond good brake pads and camber plates everything else is optional. Have fun.

Love this car the f30 platform is superb. But I Been thinking of getting into the e9x m3 platform maybe in another several months or a year once the market settles down an M car would be something to consider.

E90 M3's are a little inflated right now due to the market, but I think they are done with most of their depreciation. I would jump on the E90 before I would on an F80 just because the F80 are still going for $60k+ used, it's absolutely insane. A good E90 is $40k right now, and before pandemic they were at $25k.

Oh totally though I was thinking of getting into an e92 m3 the e90 is great but I been considering a 2 door coupe versus the 4 door. And yes it's crazy how much they've inflated some with 100k+ miles are going for over 30k$ it's ridiculous. I'm just gonna wait it out for a bit and enjoy the f30 no rush.

I upgraded from a Nissan Sentra to my 2018 430i M sport lol. The dealer said the same thing when I bought it. Love it though!

Have been thinking about getting some different carbon fiber double slat kidney grilles without the M colors but haven't pulled the trigger. I got this set to break up the monotony of the front end and give it some color but I dunno.

Carbon double slat would look much better than those coloured ones.

Yeah agreed. I think I'm going to go ahead and pick up a new set of carbon fiber kidney grilles without the colored slats.
