there are three different EVO's

ID 4 -> similar like NEXT
ID 5 -> tile design
ID 6 light -> live tile design

also the memory of the units is different. From what I know ID 5 started with 6/2016 and ID 4 with introduction of LCI 7/2015.

I do have EVO ID4 but was not able to generate a working key even when using E-Sys to extract the file needed.

thanks, car is 2016/06 (MY2016) and it's not tile design so it will be ID4, so probably not worth trying to generate working key?

you can try to store fsc 0xF0 using E-Sys and use the program to generate a key but for me it was not working - neither one time nor lifetime key.

I can not get the correct FSC code no matter how many times I tried on this system.

My VIN code is 2A 27284, the target map is "JAPAN NEXT 2018 NBT".

Short answer, I don't know. The edition hex for 2023 has not been released yet.

The Map years generally increment linearly, but not always

For example, all Europe (WEST) Premium Maps released to date are:

You can see that from 2010 to 2016, the edition part of the hex incremented by "1", for each map release. This changed from annually in 2010-2012 to biannually from 2013 to present.

However, starting in 2016-2, the edition part of the hex also changed. It jumped from 0x000B to 0x0027, and the edition itself changed as well.

From 2016, the differences between editions are: (0x0029-0x0027) = 2, (0x002B-0x0029) = 2, (0x002D-0x002B) = 2, (0x0032-0x002D) = 5, (0x0038-0x0032) = 6, (0x003E-0x0038) = 6

Based on these changes, you can't just add 6*5=30 (0x005C) - As BMW may change the increment value again. 2020-1 could be allocated 0x0028004D (a difference of 15)

Without VIN it's impossible to generate even is experimental. The best solution is ENET cable.

Hello. I currently have Road Map North America Next 2015-1, nbt_H14174A. I downloaded Road Map Europe Next 2018-1 and I can not generate the correct code. Is the problem that I do not have US to ECE conversions? My VIN: NS15921. Please, help
