and add these to FA.
810 National version Australia
853 Language version English

If you have NBT then you can just code and map FSC will change to ECE. After that extract the FSC and generate code for maps you want to install
If you hhave NBTEvo you will have to do region change using feature installer. You will receive FSC files. Copy fsc to usb with maps and maps should start updating.

Sunday 7 May : So following the guide , I've gone as far as successfully Writing the new FA to the car. ( Changed '807' to '810' and '852' to '853' in Salapa Elements.) Entire process did not show any errors so hopefully that's a good sign.

Now check if you have 00A0 FSC accepted. After that you need to extract DE FSC and generate map code.
Pm me i can help you with extracting the fsc and getting map codes.

Thank you sire. So I have done all the above successfully.. and got the map updated to Aust/NZ NEXT 2022.. done the fsc extraction and generated code..etc.etc.. all good

BUT now the Navigation option is grayed out. The 00A0 FSC reads "Rejected" and more reading says its a Region Unlock code I need. ( different than the FSC generated code ), Hope you can help me as I felt i was so close .... Thank you once again Captain.

For NBT using coding it should change to 00A0 FSC. For NBTEvo you require Region Unlock code.
Try flashing the NBT, maybe 00A0 FSC would be accepted.

Thank you .. I am downloading the full pszdata as i understand flashing the ECU (NBT ) will require the full database. Will give the flashing a go - my last option i guess.. thank you again for your time Captain TheNine90 !

@stjackBMW - I haven't got around to flashing my ECU and will share with you when I do either way ( success of fail ) ......please share if you have managed to flash your ECU ..... cheers

I have the same problem. I got an NBT, car (JP import) is programmed to EU/Germany and we installed EU maps but the car will not accept the FSC.

I understood that when you copy the FSC to the USB with the map data you should place it into a folder named "FSC" in the main root but I have not tried that. Any other tips I could try?

You describe process for NBT2 EVO, but you say you have NBT. Which Head Unit do you have?

hi i have changed FA, coded nbt, (f10), finally managed to flash nbt but the fsc status is STILL AppID 160(0xA0)
UpgradeIndex 1(0x01)
SWTType SWTclassic full
FSCStatus rejected
FSCCertStatus accepted

it has taken me weeks to even flash the nbt, finally got it to work with 3.27 using tal from 3.4 after failing after the bootloader as many have found, at that was AFTER setting up dhcpserver.de on the computer.....
all files in nbt are black when looking to update except 2 ENTD_00001A07_006_016_002 and
NAVD_000014B7_255_001_103

can anyone please help. thank you

ENTD and NAVD is gracenote and navigation data, you cannot update them using esys.
You can ignore them.
