Just did this on my 2015 328i, it worked.

I followed atzebmw`s instructions and coded VO from 8KL to 8KP. At first, I coded as he said, change VO and code KOMBI, but that did not work for me, I tried CBS reset but the 16000km/12 month was still there. After that I saw Discordia`s message in which he coded also the DME and HU-NBT and FEM_BODY, the last 2 are kind of optional. After I coded the DME the interval went down to 8000km/12 months. Thank you!

Why KOMBI? I have coded only DME with given key values.

One of these values change depending on the option choosen. Sometime it remains same.
CBS_WEG_FAKTOR_FZG_CHECK_DEPEND
Comment=A multiplier for motor oil for the path component of the fzg_check. This factor indicates how often the forecast is added to the remaining path.

CBS_ZEIT_FAKTOR_FZG_CHECK_DEPEND
Comment=A multiplier for motor oil for the time component of the fzg_check.
This factor indicates how often the forecast is added to the remaining path.

I see... Default values for these keys are 5 and 4, but somewhere I saw 2 and 2. How to know what values to use for eg. 10k / 12m?

There is no option for 10k so it hard to know unless someone does it manually.

Send me FA and SVT and I can give you FDL, or let me remotely connect to your car, I can do it.

ISTA+ oil interval coding

Name: conversion.jpg - Copy.jpg
Views: 213
Size: 942.7 KBHi guys, just got ISTA+ working and wonder if I can code the the oil change interval from 15k to 8/10k but with ISTA+ only? I don't have ESYS yet. I noticed everyone using ESYS for this purpose here, but can it be done with ISTA+ ? Also, may be the wrong thread to ask for , but can I do light coding with ISTA+ like folding mirrors automatically when car is locked?

Thanks.

You can’t use ista for that, you need Esys. Since launchers for Esys coding are paid, you won’t get them for free. If you need someone ti code few things for you, I can do that remotely

Hey,

Some more technical question:
If the oil interval is changed via FA and FDL and the car will be connected at BMW dealer, will the FA of the car also be updated in BMW AIR database that the new interval is also there visible or just locally on the car?

Thanks.

Hello, i wanna code my MINI Coutryman R60 to 12000km/12months. Is it possible with BimmerCode ? And also my car has the old radio that is not connected with the KOMBI, its just a small screen with no info on the car apart from the radio, so i don’t think the DME coding will be necessary. Any help is appreciated !
