FSC Codes - do BMW charge dealers for them?

Replaced my F30 NBT unit with similar after OEM died. Lost Nav, Enhanced Bluetooth, Voice Control, and SiriusXM. Dealer want to charge hourly rate plus FSC fee. Can someone help me out by generating FSC for enhanced bluetooth and sirius. Much appreciated. VIN P662059

Hi.

I'm in the process of doing some upgrades to my car.

It's a 2016 F54 Mini Clubman, but I'm in here because I've found lots of useful info

I have some questions regarding FSC codes, and this seems like the place to ask it.

Firstly, my car came without the driver assistant - so no high beam assist or speed limit info and only basic cruise control with descent braking.

It also came with Halogen headlights and no HUD.

I am in the process of getting all the parts together.

I will be retrofitting the SAS ECU (already have KAFAS2 thankfully). I will also be upgrading the stalk for high beam assist, and the buttons for adaptive cruise control.

I have a pair of Matrix LED headlights with cornering lights, and I will be fitting these at the same time as the SAS unit

I've been told to activate SLI, I will need FSC code 7E

So number 1 is what sort of cost am I looking at, and where's the best place to buy?

I use an independent specialist who can update the idrive and do software updates, so could he purchase the codes from BMW AG?

Number 2 is do I actually need the SAS ECU for the SLI? Or does that just deal with the HBA and ACC?

Number 3 is that I mentioned I plan on retrofitting the HUD - I've got all the parts, new Kombi, HUD, cables, dash with cutout - I'm only short on the dash carrier at the moment.

If I activate the SLI before I install the HUD, will I need to do anything else when I add the HUD assist from the usual coding? Or should it just continue working.

Lastly - apart from map updates, CarPlay/Androud Auto (which I don't think I can add anyway), and SLI

What other options are there that I can add that need FSC codes?

HBA and SLI are KAFAS ECU, not SAS. PM sent.

I was under the impression they were linked to the SAS as they were part of the DA package, like the ACC. They weren't available separately as options so I presumed the SAS was the reason why.

No matter, because I'm installing the ACC anyway

That makes sense now - it says I need to replay minimum of 4 times before PM functionality will be available. I had an account before where PM was on but for some reason it was not found when I tried to log in?

Hi Shawn!
I’m having an issue with my navigation. The original ECU died and i replaced it with a donor one, I managed to get bluetooth working, but I can’t seem to get navigation to work, when i turn on my car, I can enter navigation, but after 30-40 seconds it becomes grayed out.
Any help is appriciated.
