FSC Codes - do BMW charge dealers for them?

Hi all--new to this site

is there a verdict on a reputable source to change the map from
europe to U.S ? definitely do not want to pay the ~$900 fee associated with that from the dealer. thank you

Is this changeable via a USB update from EUROPE to U.S ?

It is doable. Your Receive PM function is disabled. PM me when working.

Interesting post. Didn't realise it was that high of a cost to get FSC codes :/

Depends on the FSC Code. Some OEM ones are very expensive, which is why custom ones are often used.

Hi shawnsheridan,
I came across this thread as I did some very simple coding with bimmercode and it seems my nav, sat radio, etc is not working now. I see notes now that say 'activation code cancelled' when viewing in Bimmercode app. Sounds like you may be able to help me out here. Anything would be appreciated, bummed this happened just doing basic changes but here we are.

Hey all, I'm new to this as well. I realise the is a F30 post but does it apply to G01 as well?
Basically I'm in the UK and interested in enabling wireless CarPlay and also SLI if possible. All hardware is already installed as far as I'm aware.

I understand that FSC codes are necessary for this. I have also just bought enet cable and Iphone adapter with full version of bimmercode so been having a play around with that.

It is same for G-Series. Your Receive PM function is disabled. PM me when working.

After a restoration from a backup on BimmerCode for my head unit, I was met with the following message when trying to access the navigation on my 2017 330e.

"Connect USB device with correct activation code"

VIN: WBA8E11060K419853

I am not sure whether it can be fixed or how to go about it.

Common problem. Need OEM Map FSC Code. Your Receive PM function is disabled. PM me when working.

Hello everyone

I enabled a carplay using a purchase form ebay. Which recently caused an issue after a recall with Bmw. original codes haven't been backed up either . Is there anyway i can get the satnav to work again? Completley new to this so any help appreciated. Thanks

Are you saying BMW Programmed car, and now all FSC Codes are rejected?

Was CarPlay solution purchased a USB .bin file?
