I've changed them using a DIY for an other model BMW. I'll try finding it when I get home tonight.

Most annoying part is the clip removal. Pushing in and to the left, had me cursing all kinds. Once you figure it out and get it unclipped you'll be relieved lol.

Push in and then to the left. For both sides it's in and then left. Extremely annoying but doable. I used a tiny crescent wrench to cup the clip and push it in then left, if you know what I mean.

Does anyone have a DIY for changing out the F30 335i Steptronic shift handle for the M-5's with the rewiring- similar to what was done for the 08 335i (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=232777&page=7 ). I was the 2nd owner of the 08 and the previous owner had followed this DIY and made the change. Loved it.
