Costs to paint a GTS hood

I was wondering how much it costs to paint a GTS style hood ?
I called a shop and they quoted me 800$.

Located in so cal if anyone wants to recommend a good paint shop to match estoril blue 2

That's about the price I payed to have my rock-chipped hood to be fixed.. That being said, it was Canadian dollars, not USD.

It completely depends on the color. My estoril blue II cost me about $1100. It also depends on the area and quality of the shop. maaco will do it on the cheap a guy that does show quality will cost more

Yeah you'll pay for what you get overall.

I paid £700 in total with tax for mine doing in AW.

FWIW, In Norcal... SF Bay Area...

1. Rear spoiler - medium size plus install (drill and tape/glue) $600 (metallic blue)
2. Fender - bent up, repaired and paint, metallic red, $600

The surface area of the hood is dramatically bigger and gets the elements and road debris pretty directly.

So $800 isn't too bad.
