340i XDrive Manual Track Pack
Hello!
So....I went a little crazy and bought a 340i XDrive Manual with the Track Handling Pack. The car is in Alaska.....I live in NJ. IT HAS ONLY 16,000 miles, and was 3k cheaper than cars with double the mileage here. So....how crazy am I? Go. |

OP, I relate, I just took delivery of MY2020 440 GC, and it was a TURRABLE financial decision considering the new 4 is about to come out, and new cars in general are a bad financial decision, but I'm am loving every second of it. So, if you were looking for was super hard to find, and this was it? Enjoy the hell out of it. Last edited by Flump; 09-04-2019 at 07:50 PM.. |

Completely agree with you...but I have a 2011 Mustang GT that I inherited from my deceased Brother, and I need something to get me home from work in the snow....hence AWD. If I was going RWD, I had crazy ideas of looking for an M6 Gran coupe Manual...which is super rare. This was also out of my price range....but I did Pretend to buy it...like I pretend to buy THOUSANDS of cars per year. I was looking for 335s too, but not a single one in the whole country with the options I wanted less than 30k miles. It clearly appears that the stick shift community has spoken, and is buying these cars and keeping them, because they are not making any new ones. |

Ship it. It's going to be $3,000...roughly. Funny story, I told my dad...who has a E46 M3...and he said "Your stupid and you like to waste money." Lol. BTW, I'm 34, Married, two Boys, I have my own house, three cars, completely financially independent and do NOT need approval from anyone....other than maybe my wife....lol. |

I can hit 71MPH in second gear and yet at 75mph I'm doing 3k rpm on the highway... why? If bmw made second a little shorter and therefore gave me more torque, and then extended 6th a little more it would've been perfect. But it's ok, because I bought myself a little Honda Civic commuter to get to work and I've since made my 335 the garage queen and plan on some extensive performance modding in the future. As I can't afford a Cayman GT4, I plan to keep this for quite some time so I might as well have fun with it. |

I hear ya. For me, the gearing is about what my Mustang is, so it's pretty easy to switch between the two. Well, at least 1-5 is very similar. 6th on the Stang is really low. I'm like 2400 at 85. I was considering the WRX STI, and those gears are really low. 2nd ends BEFORE 60. And such a different car...lighter clutch, completely throws me off. That's why I choose this, both have Getrag trannies that feel similar so I can bounce between the two and not look like a rookie. |

Fly to Alaska and drive it back before the weather gets really bad in Canada. It should be an epic road trip. You can use the money you saved to fund the trip.
