What's your MPG?

Not the most glamorous or a hot topic but here it goes anyway. I use my 2016 F30 328i AT as my daily driver. I have a total of 90 mile (all highway) commute to work and home. I leave the car in ECO PRO mode, cruise control, AC on, and relax the whole way. I'm averaging around 34 MPG and the most I got on a tank is 507 miles.

So my questions are:
What's your average MPG (when you're driving on ECO PRO)?
How many miles are you getting in one tank (highway driving)?
What speed should I set the cruise control at to get the best fuel economy?

I get 27 all around, which is 90% in town. On my last long trip I averaged 36. On a level stretch at 75 MPH I get 38. I set my cruise at 5 MPH above the limit, whatever that may be.

2018 BWM 328d

- Average MPG:
-- Combined 30% city, 70% highway -- 43 mpg
-- Highway 100% -- 46 mpg

- Highway miles per tank -- 680 average, 700 record (down to 0.3 gal left)

- I get best economy when the vehicle is in the 8th gear and at the lowest RPH. For a diesel variant, that is around 60-65 mph. Anything over results in reduction in MPG for me.

Just picked up my car last week. 2015 335i X-drive with M Sport package. Drove a full tank of gas and averaged 27.6. I drive 70/30 highway to city. Did a stretch of 50 miles on highway and got 34.5.

I set cruise at 70 on highway here in CT/MA/RI.

Pretty satisfied with these numbers.

I have no idea what gas mileage my car gets in Eco Pro lol. Lifetime usage of that mode is about 30 seconds.

535 miles on a single tank - would be my best result so far [Shell's V-Power+ if it matters] - in early spring.
330-370 miles in the city [50/50 ECO/SPORT]
Clearly, this is sooo subjective - load, elevation, outside temperature, air quality, driving dynamics, etc.

With mostly highway driving and some city in between, I usually average 29 MPG.

What oil are you all using? I dont think I could achieve some of the high numbers that you guys quoted no matter how I drove. Wonder why...

I used to get around 27 also with my E90 328xi. I think the new 8 speed transmission is much more efficient.

Wow 700 miles is amazing. I keep the cruise control set to 68-72mph in a 70mph limit. The revs are just below 2K.

I drove a lot in New England. The curvy roads and hills kill the economy. I'm finding it much better if Florida.

That's not bad. The auto-stop start feature must come in handy in the city. I personally don't use it.

I have a 2013 420D F32. My overall average is 56 MPG. 700 miles on £68 of fuel at £1.30/litre.

That's about 70/30 motorway town. I use Eco Pro most of the time. Sport now and again if the road and mood suit.
