N47 Charge Pipe?
Hi all -
Didn't see a thread already for this, so here goes - Does anyone have any experience with a Charge Pipe for their N47 engine? Is the plastic OEM one prone to breaking? The only one I've seen is made by FTP Motorsport Located Here Any insight or advice is appreciated! |

The stock charge pipe is rubber and very good at its job. Nothing like the hard plastic ones on the gas engines.
Save your money for a good tune instead. All the 'benefits' listed are marketing mumbo-jumbo.

I have an FTP N47 charge pipe set (turbo to intercooler and intercooler to manifold). It's well made, but very unnecessary. I ran it for a bit, but it made swapping intercoolers a pain (I was doing testing at the time) so I went back to OE.
It's just sitting in a box in my garage now. You can have it for cheap if you want (just pay for shipping and the cost of the much better Breeze HTM worm drive clamps I bought for it).
