Stock turbo would overboost more and cause throttle closure, 2 PSI is pretty normal for an N55 on tip-in. I'm also at 5-6K feet of elevation, so the taper isn't alarming by any means. WGDC has plenty of room, I just don't think this OTS map is programmed to follow the boost target perfectly at anything but sea level and I will need a custom tune down the line.

Dude... Read the post title. We don't want to discuss JB4 here.

Edit: I would be very interested in seeing a log logged with MHD/BM3 in Map0 though. The resolution with JB4 is just too bad.

JB4 is stacked for use with Map 3. That log may be JB4, but it is in Map 0 with no meth, so the JB4 is only monitoring my Custom flash with no JB4 intervention. The log may be taken from JB4, but its is only logging my custom tune - thought that was what you were after, logs from a custom tune / flash?

AFAIK the JB4 wont integate with the TTFS HPFP, hence the custom tune and stacking the JB4.

Yes correct but the resolution on JB4 is appalling. Can you do a log file with BM3/MHD instead? This is possible with JB4 in map0. Who has made the custom tune?

I dont use BM3 or MHD, and only just fitted the JB4 for methanol control. I do have the full .csv, but cannot post that here. Calibration was done by a company in the UK.

Can you expand on this a little? Where was the leak in particular? I am having boost oscillations at higher boost and wonder if I have a vac issue. Thanks!

The vacuum line to the exhaust flap under the car, next to the muffler was disconnected.

Very excited about the latest progress on my custom tune from Fabian (PureBoost).

I asked him to give me less load down low for a more NA feel and to put less strain on the drive train.

This is the latest result and I hope my car is VERY soon finished

looks great harkes, I ended up forgetting about this thread so I apologize. I also went with a different tuner than original and finally have it dialed in. Let's just say it looks almost identical to yours.

They are on my burner phone I use for logging, I'll rip one of the latest ones off tomorrow and post a screen shot. I ended up going with David Shoup. He's done amazing work.

I believe StuyMac is also using David Shoup. I have seen some very impressive WG control from him and we also had a chat. Decided not to start with a 4th (!!!) tuner though as I start shaking by the thought of another 30 revision

Please post in Datazap if possible. Can also send the .csv to my email harkes@gmail.com if you dont mind

What fuel do you plan on running?

rn I'm running MHD stage 2+ 91oct tune, but w/ California fuel I add a few gallons of e85 to clean up the timing.. when I go PS2, because I'll be getting a custom tune, I want to shoot for just 91oct and not have to add e85.

Save the money on the Dorch pump then. You cannot run enough boost to max out stock pump on 91AKI.

pure stage 2 won't max out the stock pump on 91 on a custom tune?

Not unless you run excessive boost and very low timing which is a stupid way to make power.

This is PS2 OTS map running 98RON/93AKI. So you can imagine that running 91 you will not get anywhere near the limit on your HPFP.
