Dual-sport motorcycle helmet for track
I am thinking about buying a high-end enduro helmet and using it for off-road, street cycling, and occasional auto track days. Killing many birds with one expensive stone. Does anyone have an opinion on using a safety-approved dirt-bike-like helmet on track days? Yea or nay and why.

Make sure your helmet meets which ever organization you are running with's requirement.
But a general rule of thumb is if you get a product made to do multiple things, it will not do a single thing well. So it might be hot, heavy, etc...

I was able to run using my motorcycle helmet once but only as a one time exception. I now have a proper auto rated SNELL helmet for HPDE.
