Both a pair of morons. Middle lane hogging, especially way below the speed limit, is a pet hate of mine, but the truck driver is also playing with fire by doing that.

The speed is irrelevant: if the lane to the left is clear and you don't move into it you're a lane-hogger.

I can't tell you amount of times I'd have loved to do what the lorry driver did.

At no point did he think to pull left and avoid the collision from continuing even though there was diddly squat on his inside?!?
The lorry was a dick for actually sideswiping him but had probably been stuck behind the idiot for miles.

That car driver is a danger to himself and everyone else on the road. Shouldn't have a license imo.
The Lorry shouldn't had done that but I guarantee earlier footage would show the car playing the braking game and the Lorry probably just had enough. The Driver has lost his job already and this moron seems to have the police on his side.
I drive a Truck and this type of driving the car driver is showing is a daily occurrence and is very frustrating so much so I work nights now as I can't handle all the stress lol

Interesting how he has his hazard lights on before the lorry got close to hitting him.

Convenient how his guy has multiple camera angles at £170 each. Nice big publicity stunt for his business.

Twat.

But then he wouldn't have got the footage he really wanted.

Yep, agreed, middle lane hogger that should be booked. I don't think truck drivers go around aiming to run people off the road - it's their livelihood after all.

I believe this guy should be severely dealt with. Yes, he seems a complete... well you know what.

Which leads me to ask, can we moderate the language please? I don't think we need such expletives on here. Just my $0.02

Clearly deliberate goading to achieve increased sales for his business, hopefully resulting in charging him with "driving without due care and attention" and "wasting police time".

Notwithstanding the huge assumptions you're making, one might argue that using a 40 ton vehicle to make your point is qualitatively more dangerous than sitting in a middle lane doing 50 late at night. So yes, no wonder the 'moron seems to have the police on his side.'

I agree that without doubt the lorry driver should be prosecuted. That goes without saying.

The full footage of the incident should be reviewed though as I suspect he is guilty of at least one offence, probably more.

He's definitely guilty of at least two offences - even the video footage he has made public shows that.

I'm not on Twitter, but can you tweet his account with real life prices for his dash cams etc?

This is crazy, to me he has enticed the driver to commit the offence in order to further his own business, and the hyacinth buckets of this world will buy in droves

Yes I agree you can't go around using your 44 ton Lorry to do stuff like that but the moron in the car wasn't just sitting doing 50mph in the middle lane was he?
Their is more to it than what's on the camera and he has goaded the truck into losing his temper.
Being a professional driver myself you come across this so much on the roads with idiots but you just have to switch off as this is what can happen if you don't.
