Hey everyone, I am supposed to pick up a 2013 328i xDrive Sedan (new) tonight but I just got a call from the salesperson saying my car won't be ready for pick up until next Monday due to a recall that just went out for the N20 engine.

I searched online but couldn't find anything so I want to ask if you guys know anything about this? I'm hoping he's not BS-ing me to keep the car to fix/repair something before I pick it up.

Any idea?

i got my 2013 328xi sedan back in late Sept. and i was never been informed of any recalls of N20 engines. However, you should double check the brakes on your new car once it arrives. There seems to be a lot of problems with the brake being too soft.

if i remember correctly, they still haven't found a solution yet and isnt sending out recall noticed to their sales till they actually find a solution which is around november/december.
