Help please, vibrating sound from down pipe?

Hi I'm making this post in hopefulness that someone could possible help me figure out how to get rid of a vibration coming from my aftermarket carless down pipe. whenever I'm in a low RPM with my stick it will rattle under the passenger seat were the down pipe is, almost every time it is cruising at to low of an rpm (normally normally around 1800) or giving it a little throttle to raise the rpm to change gears, but the vibration will go away once i get into the 2200 RPM range.. i have brought it to a couple shops and its in correctly idk if its just a tight fit or what.. or maybe it is vibrating against something like the heat shield? is there a way to eliminate the vibration, maybe some kind of heat resistant stuff i can wrap around the down pipe so it won't vibrate against anything?

any info regarding this will be much appreciated thanks.

Is this drone your talking about? Or actual vibration? if its actual vibration then whoever installed it probably forgot to tighten a bracket or something. They just need to tighten up the downpipe or your exhaust piping.

wrap it with some header wrap? pretty sure mine doesn't even come close to any heat shields.

Isnt that normal when you are in too high of a gear for the rpms? The car will boom and rattle a bit until the revs match the gear or you down shift. I have a N26 engine but have this same booming/droning at 1500-2000rpm at 40-50mph usually if I can on any kind of incline.

mine did the same, had to remove the hanger on the mid pipe and adjust it, ended up using 1 bolt and rotating the mount a bit, no more rubbing. Took the noise right away. Such a relief.

These cars have some minor vibration between 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm
Happens on stock as well, with the catless DP it is a bit more noticeable
If yours is too noticeable, double check installation

+1 here. I recently re-adjusted the muffler clamp a bit and it has greatly reduced the booming/vibration I was hearing at 1500-2000 rpm.

I recent had my a catless installed and am having the same problem. It sounds fine at all rpm revving in park or neutral. Same issue? Trying to pinpoint so I know what to tell the installer.

I just went through this same issue! After a lot of searching I ended up buying a replacement for the clamp that connects the downpipe to the midpipe. The metal part that goes inside the clamp can get disfigured during exhaust / downpipe installs and is supposed to be single use. Part no. 18307620349. Other exhaust rattles/vibrations can usually be fixed by readjusting your exhaust to make sure its not touching anything.
