Can I ask what LED did you have?
I don't remmeber which specific bulbs I had, but I do know I purchased them from ijdmtoy.com since they have bulbs listed as can-bus error free. Just find out what bulbs are needed for our cars and find them there.

LCI with Depo Headlights

I decided to purchase the Depo headlights for my 2016 320 LCI. I was holding out until the LCI equivalent Depo lights were released but decided to purchase these instead due to the fact that they have been out for a few years and the cost is more than reasonable. I had already turned off warm and cold checks for my headlights. Everything else was essentially plug and play. Since the plug for the headlight housing is on the opposite side I had to loosen some of the tape and clips to make it work. I did manage to do the job without taking off my wheels or wheel liners. Bumper removal was simple; headlight removal was mostly simple except for the one bolt underneath the headlight that is closer to the center of the car. After I mounted the first headlight, I attempted to put the bumper cover back on and it did not line up correctly. It took a few tries to get the headlights lined up and a few additional washers helped. Leaving the old headlight in place while lining up the new headlight helps. Here are a few pics of the before and after.

I am planning to order the same, quick question do you see any difference in nighttime visibility on stock depo halogen ? or we need to install HID/ LED to increase it?

I can say I deffinetlty do. Maybe because the beam is more focused?. The bulbs I use are GP Thunder 5800K Super Bright White H7 halogen Bulb, I'm sure an error free led would be better.

I went with H7 Auxbeam F-T1 and so far they look great. I did not want to go back to halogen. I had LED in my halogen reflectors, they were ok but always lacked. The projector in the Depo is much improved over the halogen reflector.

These were plug and play, they just needed the adapter. This is what I purchased.

I purchased the KP-101. They looked the closest to my existing clips.

Just ordered these for my 2013 328i. I opted for the H7 Super White Halogen Bulbs. I will post before and after pictures soon, as well as how long they took to arrive.

How are the cutoff lines with these LED's? Do you have any pictures of the lights at night with these? I have my Depo's coming and I need to decide what way I want to go with the bulbs. LED or HID

Hi All,

I'm looking at getting these DEPO headlights for my '15 320i. Since they don't have a pre-installed HID option, I'm going with an HID conversion kit from HID Nation, which includes:

55 watt slim ballast (AC/Digital)
Error/Warning cancelers
Relay Harness

and of course the 6000k bulbs

Will I need to do some coding for any of this? I've only ever replaced the turn signal bulbs with LED's on my previous BMW and I coded out the warm/cold checks for that. I'm assuming I won't need to do that with the error/warning cancelers and relay harness?

Can everyone take a pic of their beam pattern? Been running these lights since July and the thing that bothers me most about them is the ugly beam pattern. Any suggestions on how to make them more aligned would be appreciated. I’ve looked at all tutorials and still can’t get the beam pattern right.

Adjust your bulb position and align your headlights. That's all you can do. You won't be able to eliminate the "divot" in the beam cut off. I've been down this road with USR. Their response to my many emails about the beam pattern is "there is no way around that as that part on the edges is a result of the Bi Xenon Internal Shutter which lifts that causes the output on the end." Tried pursuing the issue with USR but no response. Good luck!

They can't do anything about it because it's U.S. law and presumably similar in other countries.

I understand it's the law but the beam cut off line of USR headlight is horrible. The internal shutter of USR headlights causes two steps in the beam cut off. It's a poor design. Below is an example of how a clean cut off line should like.

That's unfortunate. Mine is only a single vs. your double.

There's quite a few of us having the same problem with the beam cut off. Would you post a picture of your beam cut off up close and from a distance. What bulbs do you have installed?
