I have a full merino leather dashboard from an f80 m3 with heads up display and center speakers. Has only 3k miles on it but has one issue, the passenger's side airbag blew and a section of the leather that will need to be replaced, I took it to a local upholsterer who couldn't find an exact merino leather match and I didn't have the time to wait so I just ordered a brand new dash.

This is perfect for those who know of an upholsterer or have experience in similar stuff themselves and know what to do or who can do it. If you have no idea about repairing leather then this is not for you

The glove box will not be included and neither will the left side light switch and left storage box, the glove box is also not for sale.

A new dash retails for $2,653

NEW Holiday Special Price $299 cash or paypal + 3% + shipping if you want it shipped

Let me know if you want more pics.

Interesting for all the people claiming to want a leather dash, when one is finally available, all those go quiet.

This is a great deal for someone who otherwords couldn't get a leather dash!

GLWS!

I believe its possible to dye the stitching a different color. It wont be 100% oem looking but will be close enough

Only problem is the airbag blew. Can’t even repair that part. If not I am definitely interested since I got the M4 seats already.

It can be done. No different than reupholstering seats which many have done.

If you have good connections and know people that's willing to do the labor for cheap it's a good buy. But all the quotes I've gotten including new airbag, new leather material put's me in the range of what a decent one with no damage will cost, maybe more.

Your issue is you are not aware of what you are doing. You reuse the airbag that’s on your car now. The airbag is not associated with the dash, just as the seat airbags are separate from the seats. You don’t purchase a new Radio or AC Control either. nor do you buy a new wheels when you change tires.

That elimates $700 of what you estimated for the airbag.

If you are this unaware of what is needed, this in NOT an upgrade for you.

People are reupholstering their entire car with leather for $3000 and you cannot find a place to reupholster 1 piece of leather with 1 breakaway seam for far less than $2200?

If that was the case this would of been sold real fast at that price, you can easily fix just that area but it won't match perfectly. But GLWS OP

If you read my original posting I specifically said that this is for those who know what they are doing. If someone needs to ask how its done or thinks the the airbag is now toast and u cant fix an airbag it’s obvious not for them. You dont “fix” the airbag. U replace it, it attaches on bolts underneath the dash. About $200-300 for a used one or reuse your old one.
Second you can make it match perfectly but you have to know what you are doing. This isnt any different then repairing your car after a fender bender, fixing a hole in your house or any other repair. If you know what ur doing itll look like it never happened. If you have no clue then it’ll look like crap.

Price is also obo. I just needbit gone to free up some room.

Thanks

If you fix the dash first and resale it probably will get a lot more money and save the buyer the hassle. I am of course not worry about the airbag as I can reuse mine.
