What version of iDrive do MY18/19 F34 have?
Also, what is the screen size and resolution?

iDrive 5 started production in 2016 (MY17) for cars with pro nav, iDrive 6 the following year (MY18). All 2018 cars (MY19) have iDrive 6, even without nav.

Cars without nav have a 6.5" matte screen, cars with business nav 6.5" glossy screen and cars with pro nav 8.8" glossy screen.

So MY18+ (even MY19 produced in 2019) have ID6 and up to 8.8" screen, but w/o touchscreen feature (which would have had the newer 10.25" screen)?

Screen resolution? For example, 1280x???

Yes, either 6.5" (no nav or business nav) or 8.8" (pro nav) either with or without touch support. The 3GT doesn't come with the largerst (10.25") screen - its for 5/7-series or SUVs, but can be retrofitted (tested on iDrive 4, haven't seen on iDrive 6).

The 8.8" screen has a resolution of 1280x480. The 10.25" screen has the same resolution, but more screen space.

FYI, found a MY19 F34, February 2019 build for USA with Nav, iDrive 6.0, 8.8" screen, TOUCH capability (no gesture control).
