Either is a possibility. Last year we drove to Southern Germany to a Centre Parcs. Really enjoyed it and could well go again this year. Previous years went on package holidays to Greek isles, Algarve etc.

Cousin of mine got married in Santorini last year. And we had our honeymoon in the Marbella area.

Las Vegas then into the canyon for three days rafting, pick a mustang up then four days up the PCH, few days in San Fran then Winnebago over to Yellowstone through Yosemite. 21 days of American filth and a big fan with our own crapper in the back.

We're taking the daughter, she'll be 16 so probably last chance for a while for big trip family experience. Did similar father and son trip last year for his 21st, involved more guns and dancing girls though.

Oh yes, twice a year with work, agreed awful place, but always tag a road trip around the front or back end of the conference. Nothing like four days on the road with a v8 to clear the stink of Vegas out of the system.

Other halfs never been and I honestly think she'll go bat shit, thankfully we only have to spend one evening there before we fly out to the dood ranch and take the donkey's down into the canyon.

Six weeks a year, Jesus, who have you annoyed....

I've hired cars there before to get out of the strip. (The Four Seasons can get stuffy after a week). It was only about 100 dollars to take a mustang for the day - good to see Nevada from a different perspective - but I still hate the place.

NYC again next week - now that place never gets old...

We're taking the kids away mid May to Cala Millor, Majorca. Good deal on a 5* family hotel all inclusive. Kids are nearly 2 & 4. It'll be the first time abroad with them, have done center parcs 3-4 times a year since they were born.

Wife's booked 2017 now in school holidays in Cala D'or, nice place but not quite as good as this years and at 4x the cost!!!
