rattle from b-pillar area
Took my car in for a rattle in the steering column and from the b-pillar area. My 2nd visit to the dealer in a week. Turned out the rattle in the b-pillar was coming from the front pax door knob. They adjusted the door knob/pin- the one that comes up and down as you lock and unlock and the sound is gone.
Steering column noise was attributed to the panel underneath the dash and they added felt tape around the contact points and the noise is gone. My only remaining rattle is from the clear plastic screen that covers the gauages. Not sure how that can be tightened. |

I have the same B-Pillar rattle. May have to check out the door pin. Thanks.

my b pillar noises were from the rubber on TOP OF THE DOORS but on the outside against the gloss window trim as here:
If you clean it without any wax/polish just fairy liquid used for washing up, give it all a good clean and dry. Afterwards apply gummi pfledge stick (like glue/pritt stick) on the sealing surfaces (door rubber AND gloss window trim): https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gummi-Pfleg.../dp/B007TNOQDI And thats it, no more noises, unbelievable! |

I have the same noise but from the rear door. Sitting in the back it is absolutely the same issue, the door knob/pin, the one that comes up and down as you lock and unlock the door.
I have told the dealer and they will fix when I take it in. |
