highest mileage on F32 428i and service intervals
hey all
I've had my F32 428i GC since August 2015, and I've just tipped through 26k miles. I'm guessing that there's not loads out there with more miles than this - challenge? - and I thought I'd share service, tyre and brake experience so far. First service (oil change) happened at 16k, and the oil change, inspection and front and rear pads are all going to come at about 30k. I'd say I've been driving fairly enthusiastically (it's a company lease) but I'm interested to see what anyone else has had. Rear tyres were changed at 22k, and the front tyres have about 5k left on them at least. Now that I'm through 5k until the next service, the countdown on pads and oil is going down in 100 mile intervals. I notice that it's possible to do 100 miles of pad wear in 30 miles if you try... also that the rears are going quicker than the fronts. Anyone know when is the earliest I can get the oil and pads done? Iassume the garage won't do it until there's less than 1k until it's due? By the way, I _love_ this car :-) |

Love the 3-series too! Check with your SA. I've not had issues bringing in my car for service a couple of hundred miles before "0".

well, it's been a while. I'm up to 88k miles now after 2.5 years.
I think we're on about the 5th set of discs/rotors, many many tyres gone to the great warehouse in the sky. And apart from the cruise control rocker that keeps failing, I think we're good as new. Anyone else out there with a high mileage 4er? |
